Week 8 Must Starts - Wide Receivers

A.J. Green - Cincinnati Bengals

Green has been a very solid contributor for the Bengals this season. He has put up very consistent numbers all season and among the top of fantasy wideouts. The Bengals are up against a struggling Seattle Seahawks team this week. Look for Green to continue his success as a rookie standout.

A.j. Green A.J. Green #18 of the Cincinnati Bengals keeps his balance to score a touchdown on a 40-yard reception during an NFL preseason game against the Carolina Panthers at Paul Brown Stadium on August 25, 2011 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Bengals won 24-13.

Sleeper Potential

Devery Henderson - New Orleans Saints
Henderson doesn't put up significant numbers consistently  but he has potential to have a big game every once in a while. Henderson began the first two weeks of the season, putting up quality fantasy points but ever since then, he's struggled. Henderson is due for a big game and is up against a St. Louis Rams defense that suffers a lot. Perhaps this is the one.

Week 8 Must Starts - Running Backs

Darren Sproles - New Orleans Saints

Darren Sproles has been nothing but impressive this season. He came into the season being a limited role player for the Saints offense and now has become a very prominent target for New Orleans. The Saints play a very weak St.Louis Rams team this week that has made opposing teams look very dominant. Look for Sproles to capitalize on this and put up stellar numbers.

Darren Sproles Darren Sproles #43 of the New Orleans Saints returns the football for a touchdown after a punt during the game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on September 8, 2011 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

DeMarco Murray - Dallas Cowboys

DeMarco who? Before last week, no one knew who DeMarco Murray was. But, after posting 250+ yards and a touchdown against the Rams last week, he seems to be a quality producer. With starting RB Felix Jones out for another week, Murray should be a solid start, up against a Philadelphia Eagles run defense that has been below-average.

Week 8 Must Starts - Quarterbacks

Mathew Stafford - Detroit Lions

Stafford is coming off his worse performance this season last week, throwing under 200 passing yards. He is the general behind a very impressive Detroit Lions offense this season so look for Stafford to unlikely repeat this performance and post a 200+ yard game like normal. The Lions face the Denver Broncos this week who have suffered to opposing quarterbacks so Stafford is most likely to bounce back.

Week 7 Starts - Running Backs

Running Backs

Jackie Battle had a great game last week against the Colts and now faces a Oakland Raiders defense that has struggled against the run. Battle has the chance to continue a performance like this as the number one back for the KC Chiefs this week.

Week 7 Starts - Quarterbacks

Quarterbacks

Ben Roethlisberger - Pittsburgh Steelers

The Arizona Cardinals are weak at defense. Watch for Roethlisberger to take advantage. The numbers for Big Ben are have been good the last couple weeks and for the division of the AFC North, this is a key game for the Pitssburgh Steelers.

Peterson Torches Vikings, Inspired Victory for Raiders

Greg Toler Running back Adrian Peterson #28 of the Minnesota Vikings carries the ball against cornerback Greg Toler #28 of the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth quarter at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome on November 7, 2010 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings won 27-24 in overtime. The Minnesota Vikings have won their first game of the season this week,  scorching the Arizona Cardinals 34-10. The Vikings effort was lead by running back star Adrian Peterson, posting 122 yards and an impressive 3 touchdowns. Fantasy wise this season, Peterson has produced his standard dose of numbers but this weeks performance really boosts his value as an elite running back in the league.

The day after Oakland Raider's owner Al Davis passed away, the Raiders put together a thrilling victory over the Houston Texans today, screeching out a 25-20 win. The game came down to the last play, resulting in Texans QB Matt Schaub throwing an interception to the Raider's defense. Inspired by events that occurred yesterday or not, the Oakland Raiders move to a 3-2 record and continue to compete in the AFC West division.

Big Starts for Week 5

Big Starts

Arian Foster

After coming off his 2011 breakout performance, Foster faces the 29th ranked team in rushing yards allowed, the Oakland Raiders. This is a very favourable match-up for Arian, considering that Andre Johnson will be out and the Houston Texans should place a lot of attention on the run game.

Calvin Johnson

Why wouldn't you start someone whose scoring two touchdowns a week? You should have full confidence playing Megatron as a number one WR this week, based on his play this season. He is up against a tough Chicago defense but nothing seems to be stopping in his way.

Aaron Rodgers

Who else? Rodgers is continually proving that he is the best quarterback in the NFL. After torching the Denver Broncos last week, he is up against the Atlanta Falcons this week. Only thing that seems to slow him down would be an injury or bad weather. Playing in the Georgia Dome Sunday, neither seem to be happening so count on Rodgers to put up big numbers. Again.

Stay Away from...

Nate Washington

After the injury to Kenny Britt, Nate Washington has taken over the role. Last week was Washington's first start without Britt, and resulted in putting up a mere 6.2 points These definitely aren't Britt numbers and it doesn't look too promising for Washington this week, against a very tough Pittsburgh Steelers pass defense.

Sleeper...

Mike Williams

Mike Williams hasn't done much this season but he does have the potential to have a breakout game. This week, he is up against the San Francisco 49ers and this may be his chance to put up big numbers. He is still young and very capable of being an elite receiver. Considering the fact that the 49ers aren't doing very well against the pass this year, Williams has a very favourable opportunity.

Week of the Running Back

This week, many running backs broke out of their shells and put up big fantasy points...

Arian Foster seems like he's recovered from his hamstring injury, posting a season-high 155 yards and a touchdown.

Matt Forte posted another successful week, scoring a touchdown and having an impressive 205 yards.

Chris Johnson and Frank Gore, both have posted their first 100 yard games of the season.

Breakout Performance

This weeks breakout performance belongs to the #2 running back for the Washington Redskins, Ryan Torain. He had a very solid game, establishing 135 yards and a touchdown. Lead back, Tim Hightower, is out with a shoulder injury, but with a bye next week for the Skins, he may be back. But don`t count out Torain if Hightower is back. His week 4 performance should get some favourable attention going forward from head coach Mike Shanahan.

Consistency at its Finest

Darren Sproles doesn't have outstanding numbers this season but his consistent play week by week this year has been very consistent and beneficial. Averaging about 13.5 points a week and not scoring less than 10 fantasy points each week, Darren Sproles is beginning to turn into a very conservative back. He doesn`t produce enough numbers to be a number 1 RB but he seems to be trusted as a low-end number 2 and an excellent choice for a flex option.

Hot Pick for Week 4

Eli Manning - New York Giants

Eli Manning began this season off kind of slow, recording the first two weeks of the season with less than 20 points. Last week showed an example of the old Manning, as he had a stellar performance against the rival Philadelphia Eagles, with 250 + yards and 4 touchdowns. Look for Eli to repeat his favourable play this week against the Arizona Cardinals. The defense of the Cards hasn't been too successful against opposing quarterbacks so expect Eli to take advantage of this. Especially with the return of Mario Manningham back in the mix, the New York Giants add another key target to their offensive weapons.
