Big Stories from Week 3

Buffalo Undefeated

This weeks main story is of course the surprising play of the Buffalo Bills. This week, they have successfully beaten Tom Brady and the New England Patriots 34-31 with a come from behind thriller, trailing 21-0 . Their defensive effort and disciplined play-making has been the key to their success and this new look Buffalo team, under new head coach Chan Gailey, has been quite the entertainment.

Fantasy wise, for a team that started the season off not having any players with significant fantasy value, the Bills have definitely developed a promising future for a few players this season. The consistent play of Ryan Fitzpatrick, Fred Jackson, and Steve Johnson has grabbed the attention of fantasy owners. Will this success continue? Only time will tell, but it will be interesting to see how this season will unfold for the Buffalo Bills and the new AFC division leaders.

Rob Gronkowski: Tight End or Receiver?

There is no doubt that Gronkowski is the new tight end (maybe even receiver) to watch this season. He has put up spectacular numbers so far this year, scoring 20+ points in the last two games. There seems to be no stopping him, especially under the helm of veteran Tom Brady. This New England offense has many weapons but Rob Gronkwoski seems to be Brady`s favourable target. Look for Gronkowski to continue his high level play and and become a top target in the NFL.

End to a Very Anticipated Season

During the Tennessee Titans loss to the Denver Broncos sunday, wide receiver Kenny Britt of the Titans suffered an ACL/MCL tear to his knee. He unfortunately will miss the rest of the 2011 NFL season. This is a devastation for fantasy owners since he has become one of the top wide receiver success stories thus far this season. All attention steers toward secondary WR Nate Washington. Feel free to pick him up off waivers if nobody owns him since he has potential to put up quality numbers.
