Week 2 Highlights

Is Cam Newton the real deal?

After two successful weeks putting up 25+ points, can Newton become a reliable fantasy qb? Only time will tell but he seems to be turning doubters into believers. His team isn't winning games but he has put the Carolina Panthers on his back to compete in both weeks so far. Hopefully this holds up and he becomes a rookie standout in the NFL.

Jamaal Charles Out

The biggest story this week is the injury to Jamaal Charles. Unfortunately, he has suffered an ACL tear in his knee and has been put on injury reserve for the KC Chiefs. This is a huge lost for fantasy owners who have invested their first round pick on this potential superstar.

Under the Gun

One whiteout who has been consistent throughout the first two weeks of the 2011 season is Kenny Britt. His performance in Week 2 has been disguised by standout fantasy play from Vincent Jackson and Miles Austin, but for the second straight week in a row he's had a 100+ yard game, adding another touchdown to his count. He currently is the second leader in points for a fantasy WR and doesn't seem to be slowing down.
