Big Starts for Week 5

Big Starts

Arian Foster

After coming off his 2011 breakout performance, Foster faces the 29th ranked team in rushing yards allowed, the Oakland Raiders. This is a very favourable match-up for Arian, considering that Andre Johnson will be out and the Houston Texans should place a lot of attention on the run game.

Calvin Johnson

Why wouldn't you start someone whose scoring two touchdowns a week? You should have full confidence playing Megatron as a number one WR this week, based on his play this season. He is up against a tough Chicago defense but nothing seems to be stopping in his way.

Aaron Rodgers

Who else? Rodgers is continually proving that he is the best quarterback in the NFL. After torching the Denver Broncos last week, he is up against the Atlanta Falcons this week. Only thing that seems to slow him down would be an injury or bad weather. Playing in the Georgia Dome Sunday, neither seem to be happening so count on Rodgers to put up big numbers. Again.

Stay Away from...

Nate Washington

After the injury to Kenny Britt, Nate Washington has taken over the role. Last week was Washington's first start without Britt, and resulted in putting up a mere 6.2 points These definitely aren't Britt numbers and it doesn't look too promising for Washington this week, against a very tough Pittsburgh Steelers pass defense.

Sleeper...

Mike Williams

Mike Williams hasn't done much this season but he does have the potential to have a breakout game. This week, he is up against the San Francisco 49ers and this may be his chance to put up big numbers. He is still young and very capable of being an elite receiver. Considering the fact that the 49ers aren't doing very well against the pass this year, Williams has a very favourable opportunity.
