Peterson Torches Vikings, Inspired Victory for Raiders

The Vikings won 27-24 in overtime.The Minnesota Vikings have won their first game of the season this week,  scorching the Arizona Cardinals 34-10. The Vikings effort was lead by running back star Adrian Peterson, posting 122 yards and an impressive 3 touchdowns. Fantasy wise this season, Peterson has produced his standard dose of numbers but this weeks performance really boosts his value as an elite running back in the league.



The day after Oakland Raider's owner Al Davis passed away, the Raiders put together a thrilling victory over the Houston Texans today, screeching out a 25-20 win. The game came down to the last play, resulting in Texans QB Matt Schaub throwing an interception to the Raider's defense. Inspired by events that occurred yesterday or not, the Oakland Raiders move to a 3-2 record and continue to compete in the AFC West division.
