Week of the Running Back

This week, many running backs broke out of their shells and put up big fantasy points...

Arian Foster seems like he's recovered from his hamstring injury, posting a season-high 155 yards and a touchdown.

Matt Forte posted another successful week, scoring a touchdown and having an impressive 205 yards.

Chris Johnson and Frank Gore, both have posted their first 100 yard games of the season.

Breakout Performance

This weeks breakout performance belongs to the #2 running back for the Washington Redskins, Ryan Torain. He had a very solid game, establishing 135 yards and a touchdown. Lead back, Tim Hightower, is out with a shoulder injury, but with a bye next week for the Skins, he may be back. But don`t count out Torain if Hightower is back. His week 4 performance should get some favourable attention going forward from head coach Mike Shanahan.

Consistency at its Finest

Darren Sproles doesn't have outstanding numbers this season but his consistent play week by week this year has been very consistent and beneficial. Averaging about 13.5 points a week and not scoring less than 10 fantasy points each week, Darren Sproles is beginning to turn into a very conservative back. He doesn`t produce enough numbers to be a number 1 RB but he seems to be trusted as a low-end number 2 and an excellent choice for a flex option.
